A BIT ABOUT ME

My name is Luke and I am a translator, interpreter and subtitler based in Barcelona. I have a vast range of experience in several fields including tourism, marketing, advertising, sports and leisure.
My passion for sports, especially football, and travel mean these fields are of particular interest to me but I have also proven to be dynamic and able to handle a wide range of texts. In addition, I have a lot of experience subtitling and time-coding various content ranging from advertising to Formula 1.
I pride myself on my both my writing and language skills and my ability to not only render both Spanish and French texts into English but also my ability to communicate the subtle nuances within those languages.
I have a BA (Hons) 2.1 in Modern Languages from Newcastle University and an 8.75 in a Masters in Translation Studies from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
